Article 1. – Access to the public hospital service is guaranteed to all patients without discrimination.
Art. 2. – Disabled people need to be taken into account in the design of reception sites.
Art. 3. – Public-sector hospital establishments guarantee a high standard of reception and care, and provide pain relief.
Art. 4. – Patient information must be accessible and accurate, so that patients accept therapeutic choices.
Art. 5. – No care may be given to a patient without his or her free and informed consent, or that of his or her parents or legal guardians, except in cases of force majeure.
Art. 6. – Patients hospitalized in a public health establishment may leave at any time, except in the cases provided for by law, after having been informed of the possible risks they are running and
