Centre Hospitalier Régional de Saint-Louis

he Saint-Louis Regional Hospital has received more than 68,000 medical items from the Servir le Sénégal foundation, thanks to the advocacy of the Saint-Louis commune. Headbands, gowns, sheets, surgical bandages, butterfly blood collection needles, catheter kits, hospital beds and blood pressure monitors were donated by the charity headed by First Lady Mareme Faye SALL.

El Hadj Magatte SECK, the director of the health institution, praised the gesture and emphasized its contribution to good patient care.

“It’s a substantial donation that will not only improve the quality of patient care, but also make it easier to deal with social cases. It’s a gift whose time has come,” he said.

Mr. SECK urged hospital staff to use the supplies sparingly, for the benefit of the people of St. Louis.
